''Ethmia candidella'' is a moth in the Ethmiidae family. It is found in North Africa, southern Europe and the Middle East.〔(Ethmia at funet )〕 The larvae of ssp. ''candidella'' feed on ''Lithospermum'' species (including ''Lithospermum purpureocaeruleum''), ''Cerinthe major'', ''Borago officinalis'' and ''Asperugo procumbens'', while the larvae of ssp.
